Model and Problem-Based Learning with Module on Students Achievement Score in
Ecosystem Materials at State of Senior High School 1 Jejawi

Abstract
The background of this research by the teachers teaching
pattern in delivering material in classroom was conventional that has effect to
the low students achievement score in Biology subject. Whereas to increase
students achievement score was the duty and responsibility of the teachers. In
this case applying project-based learning and problems-based learning was one
of alternative to increase students achievement score. Both of them have proven
increasing students achievement score even if it was applied together in
teaching material to support independent learning concept, i.e. module. The
objective of the study was to find out the differences between students
achievement score was taught using project-based learning and problems-based
learning with module in ecosystem material at Public
Senior High School 1 Jejawi. The hypotheses in this
research, guess that any difference at students achievement score which taught
using project-based learning and problems-based learning with module in
ecosystem material at State of Senior High School 1 Jejawi. This research used quasi
experimental method. Based on the result of independent sample t-test belong
from post-test both of class got match-t 2,546 > t-table 1,9917, it means
that applying problems-based learning is different with project-based learning.
In conlusion, there were differences students achievement score between
project-based learning and problems-based learning with module in ecosystem
material at State of Senior High School 1 Jejawi.
